"Through the Keyhole" is a weekly internet radio program devoted to ufology and the paranormal, and to the connections between various "fringe" topics such as cryptozoology, ufology, occultism, and hidden history.

Each week, host Karyn Dolan talks with a different researcher or author about their work. She also contributes to the Women of Esoterica blog at http://womenesoterica.blogspot.com/, and has spoken at several UFO conferences including the Roswell UFO Festival.

• 06/05/09 -Stephen Bassett, PRG Executive Director. As a result of Steve's Million Fax on Washington project, thousands of letters, faxes and emails have been sent to the presidential transition headquarters and the White House through May 31. They have been noted.
  
  Now it is time to close the deal and on June 1, PRG will begin Phase III of the Million Fax on Washington to do just that.  It is the final part of a plan conceived in early 2008 at the beginning of the presidential campaign.
• 04/24/09 -Rich Dolan and I have just returned from two consecutive weekends of UFO conferences, the Ozark UFO Conference in Eureka Springs, AR, followed immediately by the X-Conference in Gaithersburg, MD. We had a great time and met with lots of really wonderful people at both; and I spoke with several people who agreed to talk about their work on Through the Keyhole soon.
  
  As soon as the dust settles around here, I'll get those interviews scheduled and the information posted on this site. In the meantime, tune in this week when Rich and I kick back for our monthly chat with UFO researcher Peter Robbins. I know we all have news to share with each other and with you, so don't miss it!
• 03/27/09 -Each month, Rich Dolan, Peter Robbins and I make a point to get together and chat about current events in the field of UFO research, any personal projects that we're working on, and anything else that sounds interesting. Rich will give us an update on his next book, UFOs and the National Security State, Volume 2; the rest will be unscripted, unrehearsed, just three friends discussing our work. Since I missed last month's get-together due to attending the IUFOC conference in Laughlin, I have a lot to catch up on. Come join us!
• 03/13/09 - For years, I've known Joe Montaldo as my producer at the Paranormal Radio Network. However, he's also a prominent member of the International Community for Alien Research and the host of his own show, UFO Undercover. He'll be speaking at this year's X-Conference in Gaithersburg, MD on the subject of alien abductions. Join me for my first in-depth conversation with Joe about his work in the field.
• 03/06/09 - For several years now, Steve Bassett has been giving government insiders a place to relate their personal experiences and knowledge of the UFO cover up to interested citizens. It's time again for the X-Conference, which takes place at the Hilton in Gaithersburg, MD, just outside the nation's capitol. Join us this week as I ask Steve about his aims and aspirations for the conference, and for a rundown on the speakers he's invited this year. • 01/09/09 -It seems appropriate to devote my first broadcast of 2009 to discuss with Richard Dolan and Peter Robbins  the important events that took place during the past year, and what we can look forward to in the future.
  
  We are living at an incredibly exciting moment in history. The past year brought us a great deal of media coverage and releases of new information concerning UFO sightings around the world. We have a new president, who is affiliated with people who have spent years working toward disclosure of information held by the government concerning UFOs. Mainstream media is beginning to treat the subject more seriously, though there's still progress to be made.
  
  Rich and Peter are both amazingly intelligent, well-informed, and politically savvy gentlemen, and I look forward to talking with them both about the future of UFOlogy in general as well as about their own upcoming projects.
• 12/12/08 - Dean Radin, PhD, is Senior Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and the author of several books, including Entangled Minds. His first career interest, expressed at age 4, was to be jet-propelled. Since then, he has spent the majority of his professional career  fulfilling that desire by experimentally probing the far reaches of human consciousness, principally psi phenomena.

• 12/05/08 - Guests Ted Davis and Oliver Kemenczky, New York Strange Phenomena Investigators (NY SPI)
  
  Amidst the proliferation of "reality" shows concerning UFO and paranormal research, one especially stands out. NY-SPI Investigates features Ted and Oliver and their work in UFO abduction research. The show will air on Investigation Discovery (ID) on Saturday, December 13th at 10 PM eastern. 
  
  This is a reworking of the original which many of you saw on another cable channel earlier this year (which Ted and Oliver discussed here on Through the Keyhole on February 3, 2008 - scroll down for more details). This version contains "shocking, never before aired scenes and material from the Carteret case investigation that the other network didn't want you to see." I know the one I saw last spring was very  compelling, and I can't wait to see the new version.
  
  I'll talk with Ted and Oliver about their new show and will try to get them to tell me what's different about it from the previous version. I don't expect them to give away everything, but I do look forward to hearing some new information about this investigation. Tune in for a sneak preview, then be sure to watch their show on the 13th!
• 11/28/08 - Guest: Duane Tudahl, President of Mariner Point Productions
  
  The History Channel is well known for its many excellent programs on UFOs. Tonight I'll talk with one of the personalities behind those fantastic productions. Over the last few years, Duane has been producing, writing and/or editing the “UFO Files” series on The History Channel.  Those episodes included the original UFO Hunters, Hangar 18, Texas Roswell, When UFOs Arrive, UFO Hot Spots, Alien Encounters and many others.
  
  Along the way, Duane teamed up with co-producer John Greenewald Jr., and has interviewed many of the best-known researchers in the UFO field, including: John Schuessler, Ted Phillips, Stanton Friedman, Scott Ramsey, Dennis Balthasar, Ken Storch, Ann Druffel, Richard Dolan, Dr. Roger Leir, Paul Stonehill, Ruben Uriarte, Rob Simone, Nick Redfern, Jim Marrs, Stephen Bassett, and many others. 
  
  Duane is now president of Mariner Point Productions and is currently in various stages of production on several shows, including a new one about UFOs.
• 11/21/08 - Special guest Giorgio Tsoukalos. Many people know the name of Erich von Daniken, author of Chariots of the Gods, Gods from Outer Space, and others. He was the pioneer proponent of the controversial Ancient Astronaut theory, postulating that fossils showing evidence of technology from astonishingly early dates in Earth's history are proof that early cultures visited from elsewhere in the universe. Giorgio has worked with von Daniken for many years and has continued to unearth material that supports this theory.
  
  I had the pleasure of attending Giorgio's presentation at the Culture of Contact Conference last month, and it was breathtaking. Giorgio has been called the modern Indiana Jones, and not without reason. He has actually traveled all over the world, and in his lectures he shows photographs that he has taken of all those famous archeological sites that we've all heard of. Tonight, we'll discuss the Ancient Astronaut theory, Giorgio's work in the field, and his publication, Legendary Times.
• 10/24/08 - Guest Peter Robbins and Richard Dolan - The last few weeks have flown by, and once again it's time for my regular talk with Rich and Peter on current events in our field. The three of us just attended the Culture of Contact conference in Jersey City last weekend, so I'm sure that will come up. • August 1, 2008 - Paola Harris - We'll catch Italian-American journalist and UFO researcher Paola Leopizzi Harris as she touches down between travels, for a talk about her recent trips around the world including Canada, Glastonbury England, and several conferences in the United States (including a few still to come in the summer and fall of 2008.) She's got a new book coming out this fall as well, so tune in and hear all about it!
  
  Paola is well known in many countries, for her regular column in the Italian  magazine Area 51, for her books (Connecting the Dots and Exopolitics: How Do You Speak to a Ball of Light?), and for her years of public speaking and teaching. Paola has also been instrumental in bringing many UFO researchers from other countries to her home in Italy (including the Dolan family  -- thanks, Paola!), promoting a larger sense of community among researchers, and working to bring awareness of exopolitics to a wider audience. Though she now lives in Boulder, Colorado, Paola still travels around the world to continue her journalistic work.
• July 25, 2008 - Elizabeth Eagan Cox - Elizabeth Eagan Cox has penned dozens of corporate histories for some of America's most prestigious companies, including: Ayres Hotel Group, Billabong USA, Cabo Yachts Inc., Forever 21, Matsushita Avionics and TXI Cement Mfg. Co. Elizabeth was a columnist for Old California Gazette and she is a former school librarian. She enjoys digging up intriguing stories about history and incorporating these facts in her writing. In A GHOST OF A CHANCE she used many elements of history to bring the story to life, including the study of late-nineteenth century sleight-of-hand magic, Victorian architecture, and details regarding California's founding Hispanic culture. Elizabeth is a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the worldwide Irish Clann Mac Aodhagain.
• July 11, 2008 - Richard Dolan and Peter Robins - Recently, Peter, Rich and I did an episode of Through the Keyhole together in which we all chatted about current events in the field of UFOlogy. We had such a great time, and got so much positive feedback, that we've decided to do it again once a month. (I'm still working on coming up with a catchy title.)
  
  All three of us have just returned from the Roswell UFO Festival, so I'm sure we'll be comparing notes and sharing our impressions of that event. Rich and I both presented, and Peter likes to point out that for the first time, he was actually paid NOT to speak (he was the Master of Ceremonies.)
  
  Some controversial subjects were raised, such as the role of religious belief in preventing or stopping an alien abduction, and also the imminence (or not) of full disclosure by the government of all they've been keeping from us concerning UFOs over the past sixty years or so.  There will most likely be some very lively discussion this week, so be sure to access the chat room for this one.
• June 27, 2008 - Sam Maranto, MUFON Illinois State Director - Rich and I just returned from Chicago, where we attended the second Truth -- If You Dare symposium, sponsored by the Illinois MUFON group and organized by Sam and Julie Maranto. (Well, I attended, Rich gave a great presentation on the potential problems of official UFO disclosure, and touched on the recent crop circle that expresses the value of pi to ten decimal places.) Don Schmitt gave an excellent presentation of his work on the Roswell case, and it was a great conference overall. Sam and Julie both work very hard and have a lot of great ideas on how to put together an event, and they have lots more in store for the future. I'll talk with Sam about the recent symposium, and about their plans for the next one, on August 17 2008. They've got Stan Friedman and Ted Phillips coming to speak, so get your tickets now!
• June 20, 2008 - Jo Ann Richards - Jo Ann's husband, Mark, says he participated in a battle against aliens at Dulce, NM, who were abducting and breeding humans and animals for experimentation and for what can only be described as recreational torture.  He is now in prison on a falsified murder charge, which his wife believes is a ploy by the government to keep him from telling what he knows about these events. His wife speaks on his behalf and also runs the organization, Earth Defense Headquarters. We'll hear the whole story on Friday. Be sure to join us in the virtual auditorium so you can participate with your own questions and comments!
• June 1, 2008 - Richard Dolan and Peter Robins - Rich, Peter and I will discuss the UFO Festival in McMinnville, OR which took  place on May 17 this year (and was lots of fun, by the way), and the Roswell NM UFO Festival which is coming up on July 3-7. Peter is working hard on organizing the Roswell festival this year and also acted as Grand Marshall of the McMinnville Festival parade in the past. We'll talk a bit about how UFO festivals differ from UFO conferences, and what we can expect to see in Roswell this year. Over the next few weeks, I plan to interview some of the scheduled speakers for the Roswell event. If you haven't registered yet, what are you waiting for?
